Argyle Pink Diamonds™ and West Australian Ballet collaborate on unique Rare Gem partnership

Argyle Pink Diamonds^TM will fund a unique partnership with West Australian Ballet, Australia’s oldest ballet company.

 

Known as the Rare Gem partnership, this collaboration provides a 12-month scholarship within West Australian Ballet’s Young Artists Program, enabling them to continue to develop and gain valuable experience on the stage, and dedicated mentorship, readying them for a professional ballet career. 

 

Executive Director West Australian Ballet Lauren Major said: “We are delighted to partner with Argyle Pink Diamonds through the Rare Gem partnership. The process of finding and developing young, talented dancers is akin to the process of uncovering and transforming rare diamonds from deep within the earth. Our Young Artists program is an opportunity for precious few young dancers and even fewer, to be supported through the Rare Gem affiliation.”

 

Young Artist Samantha Green will be Argyle Pink Diamonds’ Rare Gem for 2025. Samantha’s dance trajectory prior to West Australian Ballet has included awards and commendations as she completed her studies at Youth Ballet WA and graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with Honours in Dance. Throughout 2025 Samatha will perform in every mainstage season as well as regional tours and special events.
